THANK YOU to all the staff in Hull and Hessle

There are so many thank you's to all the staff, but some examples as to how good they are:

Easily achieving Investors in People and healthy eating awards
Excellent OFSTED reports
Great and positive feedback from children and parents

There are very good team examples which reflect on the actions of individuals:

  • If staff are ill and or gong to be late they organise themselves to give minimum impact on the nursery
  • Many staff have had personal and or health problems but care so much that they just deliver such an excellent service
  • Staff have differing ways of doing things but work very much with the children in mind
  • The amount of time put in by all staff for the summer fayre and other charities over the year - not putting often their own family first, an excellent example of caring genuinely for others, staff still to nominate the charity for 2006
  • Staff are encouraged to bring ideas as much as skills to the nursery and you see this daily in the way children develop in every way
  • Putting other team members first in so many ways

For Ann and I, the way staff consider us by giving us funny and rude Christmas “gifts” and the sentiments expressed by staff (who should not do it!) by giving us gifts and saying why they were doing it meant more than the gift itself.

We try to treat staff very much how we wished to be treated and the word THANK YOU as we all know is a very powerful sentiment indeed to receive.

So once again thanks to all the staff for all they do in often difficult and unseen circumstances.

Best wishes to staff, children and parents for 2006!

And kindest regards

Ann and Ray
