Important policy statement
IMAGES OF CHILDREN
Please note that it is nursery policy not to use images of children on our advertising and including our web site.
We feel that even with parents' permission, in the present climate it is far too risky to have children's pictures displayed with the serious risk of being misused by others in a negative way.
We are sorry to have to come to this conclusion but the safety and security of the children in our charge are much more important then the use of images for our benefit causing parents distress.
We trust that the positive images on our web site showing the internal and external facilities are more important in addition to the image of what you see when you come in and see how our nursery operates.
Thank you.

Nursery Application
Application Forms must be completed and returned before your child can enter Lilliput Lodge Day Nursery. Start up visits can be arranged before starting.
Securing Places
When a place is offered an administration fee will be required.
Changes
One calendar month's notice in writing is required if you wish to decrease or increase your child's sessions. If you are terminating a nursery place would you please inform us on the first day of that month. When terminating a nursery place fees are payable one month after the date the nursery was informed. If a nursery place is booked and not taken up 4 weeks' notice is still required and fees will be payable for that month.
Holidays
Lilliput Lodge is closed all Bank Holidays plus one week at Christmas. Your Holiday Entitlement is 4 weeks at 50% discount, which is deducted on starting. NO REFUNDS CAN BE GIVEN.
Payment of Fees
Fees are required monthly in advance. Fees are calculated at weekly amount x 50 weeks divided by 12 months. When changing standing orders due to leaving or increase/decrease in days this is the parent's responsibility. The nursery cannot give refunds if standing orders are not cancelled.
Property and Belongings
Lilliput Lodge cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to children's property (unless this is due to negligence of staff). Every effort will be made to ensure that children's belongings are not lost or damaged. We do discourage children from bringing in toys or expensive items from home unless it is to show staff.
Insurance
Lilliput Lodge is fully insured with extensive insurance cover.
Child Health Records and Personal Details
Your child's details will be entered into the computer on starting.
Illness
Parents are requested not to send their child to nursery if they are suffering from any infectious disease or if they are not feeling well enough to attend. Lilliput Lodge has a realistic attitude towards the needs of working parents but reserves the right to contact parents whose child has been taken ill during nursery hours. Parents should contact the nursery if their child will not be attending.
Security
On starting the nursery each family will be given a pin number to enter the premises. No child shall leave the premises with anyone other than immediate family. If you require another to pick up your child a form must be filled in and signed and authorised by a staff member. The nursery will require a proof of ID on arrival.
All Policies and Procedures must be read before starting the nursery. Thank you. |
