Staff Awards December 2004
Hessle
Just before Christmas we held the staff award when staff vote on staff
for that period in terms of reliability, contribution and skill and
effort.

left to right: Diane Boynton (Hessle Supervisor), Lindsey Cropper
and Ann van Spall (Director).
Hessle has done very well last year with excellent ofsted reports which
add to previous ones and very positive feedback from parents with the
help and influence of Diane and Lindsey.
The staff voted for Lindsey overwhelmingly and the citation reads as
follows:
Lindsey has taken on board the high service
that we have come to expect at Lilliput Lodge since we opened in 1996.
Lindsey carries on this service by the time, attention, reliability
and contribution that she puts in.
Not least is the excellent drive and humour that she put in for children
in need which was of such quality that she and the staff were invited
to the "centre stage" with the BBC at the KC stadium.
The way Lindsey has blossomed and taken such a positive role in Hessle
is what has impressed the staff and parents and why this award was
very well deserved and voted on by the staff
Staff Awards December 04
Hull
Michelle Key won the staff award in Hull from stiff competition. However
the points in all categories from most staff were very much and overwhelmingly
for Michelle.
Michelle has been with us since we opened and
has so many personal qualities that have been more and more in evidence
that it was not such a surprise that she has made such a positive impact
on the nursery.
Team work/reliability/skill/attendance are just some of the areas that
Michelle has shone in.
We are all grateful for all the skill, time, effort and concern - not
least loyalty that Michelle has shown, not just for this award but for
her consistency since she has been with us. Not once has Michelle said
NO. Michelle has been through different and tempering circumstances
but just does not give up. This is a very rare quality indeed which
the company recognises daily.
It is a compliment to staff that while they may
not always like feedback and influence from others such as Michelle
they can subsume those feeling for various positive reasons and recognise
the input from Michelle.
We trust that staff recognise all of these qualities and will attempt
to emulate them in the future.
Well done Michelle. What a huge contribution you have made to the nursery
and how well you have developed with us!
Thank you.
