EYFS

The setting is working in accordance with the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework, which supports children's learning, development and welfare. All rooms within the Nursery suupport the EYFS framework as this is from the age range of Birth to Five.

Your child will have their own Personal Development File, which includes:

an Initial Assessment (Assessment of your Child's Ages and Stages in Development)
Individual Weekly Observations (Key Workers/Room Leaders observe your child's activities taking place and plan for the following week to enhance your child's development
On Spot Observations (WOW moments, which the staff witness your child doing)
All About Me Sheets (Parents to help complete these as and where possible of what your child likes and dislikes to do
Developmental Overview Grid (Key Workers/Room Leaders will assess your child at their Ages and Stages to ensure we are catering for their everyday needs and ensure that your child's stage of development is falling to their particular age range)
