Additional hi-tech security at

Lilliput Lodge

HIGH TECH SECURITY is being installed at Lilliput Lodge Nurseries, adding to the special P L A C E for your child - PROFESSIONAL, LEARNING AND CARING ENVIRONMENT.

The first phase of a “total” safety and security system is being installed at the nursery in Hull. This will be extended to include all areas of entry and egress for Hull and Hessle branches and included in any new facilities as a routine.

The BIO ENTRY system (ie Finger print identification) is in place to ensure that:

• We enjoy enhanced and top class security;
• All staff and parents are given access to the correct areas;
• It's easy to add the entry of parents and delete as necessary;
• We can account for all who enter and or leave the nursery;
• We will be better able to satisfy OFSTED as to those who enter and leave and what time etc;
• We have an additional CCTV to add to the record of entrants to the nursery.

Lilliput Lodge are installing bio entry systems as the most appropriate and best for the security of the children. We hope that more and more parents see such investment as an example of how important we take all aspects of looking after their children.

All existing parents will be shown how to use the system, and we will keep you posted about the details, as we extendf the system to cover in a detailed way all areas coming in and leaving the nursery.

FURTHER DEVELOPMENTS

In addition to the above we are in advanced discussions to ensure that the nurseries and head office are linked in with a top of the range broadband system to add to the internal system that links Hull, Hessle and head office in Lincolnshire.

The system installed will aid the work of staff on all sites and add to the training on all sites as well. This system will ensure that other expansions can easily bolt on as well.

NEW NURSERIES

We are looking at 2 new ventures - one on behalf of a large national, organisation who have asked us to set up a child care facility with other facilities that we do in Hull and Hessle as well. We are also exploring working with others: either schools and large commercial organisations to develop child care facilities on or near their own sites.
