The 2-5 Year Room

Our bumblebees room is for children aged 2-5 years old and is situated downstairs in a lovely, spacious colourful room.

The routine is much more structured for children's learning, while still having lots of fun!

They will work on developing their fine manipulative skills with activities such as pencil control, building bricks and jigsaw puzzles.

Our bumblebees love to make a mess in here, so your busy bee can put all their creative skills into practice doing a variety of messy activities such as painting, gluing, chalking and using play dough.

We also have lots of other activities to keep your child busy, like duplo, books, musical instruments, and don't forget our exciting outdoor play area, with a selection of bikes, a slide and a trampoline.

All the bumblebees are given a development chart, which will be filled in by staff and parents working together. Your child will be assessed regularly so staff can plan activities for their individual development needs to ensure full learning potential is achieved. These assessments will continue through the nursery until your child leaves us to go to school.
