Bumble Bees

The bumblebees are situated downstairs and are aged 2 to 3 years old.

In this room your busy little bee will start a more structured but fun way of learning. They will concentrate on fine manipulative skills, such as worksheets and pencil control, as well as making new busy bee friends. There are a variety of toys and games for your little bee to get busy with, like Lego, cars and lorries, home corner, books, and fuzzy felt - not to mention our messy area where all our creative talents are developed: painting, sticking, chalking... in fact, anything messy we love.

There will also be plenty of opportunities for your busy little bee to buzz around outside in the nursery garden having fun on the bikes etc. Your bumblebee will be given a development chart and the staff will work alongside the parents to fill in the chart. Your child will be assessed to ensure full learning potential is achieved and activities planned according to the individual needs of the child. This will continue through the nursery. You can be sure your child will have a busy buzzy day.
